West Point, NY Wedding - Cadet Chapel and West Point Club

This past weekend, we provided Day Of Coordination services for a wedding at West Point, NY! The timing of every detail leading up to and after the ceremony was crucial. We had to work with a very tight photo schedule before and after the ceremony, along with time constraints between the ceremony and reception, and a short set-up window at the reception site. Fortunately, with some well thought out planning in advance, along with the help of two stellar assistants on-site (thank you Jessica and Lauren!), and an amazing group of vendors (especially thankful for our talented photographer who kept the photos moving quickly), we marched through the plans seamlessly on site (even with time to spare)! Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Looking Back - 2010's Weddings and Event Highlights..

A Grand June Wedding at Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, New York Flowers by Engaging Floral Designs The aisle markers that were used at the ceremony which took place at St. Theresa's Church in Trumbull, CT were repurposed to decorate the mantle and cocktail tables at Trump National Golf Club. It was a good way to get additional use out of the pieces site. Onsite we had replenished these pieces with beautiful hydrangeas, dahlias, roses, bells of ireland, lisianthus and other delicate flowers in the blue/creamy white/green color scheme. The sweetheart table was adorned with a lush draping arrangement of the same flowers including white stock and ruscus. There were 20 centerpieces in total so it was plenty to do half as low arrangements and the other half as tall candelabra centerpieces. Looking Back - 2010's Weddings and Event Highlights....

A Challenging September wedding at West Park Winery Day of Coordination by NY Engagements, LLC. With all the weeks of planning and care that goes into each event as a day of coordinator, there's always one that a planner picks up that comes pre-packaged with a whirlwind of potential challenges that we will be walking into - from working with vendors who are brand new to the wedding industry, potential weather related issues at mainly outdoor venues/tented weddings, high traffic holiday weekends that can leave vendors traveling long distances stranded... yes this all affected us.
