It is a hidden gem for an intimate wedding venue outside of the norm with beautiful gardens, a nostalgic Bed and Breakfast and sunny ballroom with it's own unique charm. Pretty in Pink and White - June 2010 Wedding Ceremony: St. Joachim's Church in Beacon, NY Reception: Catlin Gardens in Slate Hill, NY Flowers designed by Engaging Floral Designs in Beacon, NY It was a great day for a wedding that began at a local church in Beacon where Engaging Floral Designs provided some tossing cones for the guests to toss to the bride and groom at the end of the ceremony outside. The boutonnieres were calla lilies and roses - they are sturdy and last longer than other options of more delicate flowers so they are great for long photo sessions! The bridesmaids and maids of honor carried a combination of all pink hydrangea or all hot pink rose bouquets. The bright pink really popped against their black dresses. The bride's bouquet was a really lush elegant white/cream bouquet of white stock, roses, hydrangea, lisianthus and calla lilies. It looked gorgeous with the bride's dress!
